The adolescent of the southwest coastal area has been suffering different health hazard for having poor SRHR knowledge. Based on that LEDARS, executed the local level exhibition on July 17, 2021 at Burigoaliny union, Shyamnagar Upazilla of Satkhira District. Financial support was received from Asian Pacific Resource and Research Center for Women (ARROW). The day long program displayed sexual harassment, child marriage, and eve teasing, SRH taboo, balance nutrition, unequal wages, and rights, mental and physical changes of adolescent, responsibility of the teachers to class on SRHR topic etc. related 60 types of canvass. The displayed canvass and art were visited by the adolescent, parents, farmer and other villagers to get aware on this. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Vabotosh Kumar, Mondal, Chairman, Burigoaliny Union Parishad. In his speech he said “such an event has been organized by the LEDARS will help to the adolescent and their guardian of this area to get aware on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, thanks to LEDARS to organize this”. Mr. GM Abdur Rouf, UP member (4 no ward), Mr. Mominur Rahman, Chairman of Shyamnagar Youth Forum attended as the special guest. Besides, LEDARS Program Manager, Admin Officer and Project Coordination, Monitoring Officer, Advocacy officer, Program Officer and Team Leader participated to organize the meeting.
