CORONA virus has collapsed all the inter socio-cultural activities in more the 212 countries in all over the world and it is epidemically spread out by 3.5 months. Bangladesh has identified corona virus affected COVID 19 patient by 8 March 2020 and it has been spreading quickly. LEDARS is working in Southwest coastal area of Bangladesh and it has been working in 4 upazilas in 2 districts. Shyamnagar, Kaligonj and Asasuni Upazila of Satkhira and Koyra upazila of Khulna district. Historically people are very poor and ignorant in this region adjacent to Sundarban. People do not know the science of CORONA and what they will do.
In this regard, being a grassroots organization, 
LEDARS has been started its COVID Response since 2nd week of March 2020 in Sundarbans area. Till now, LEDARS distributed 25,000 leaflets to community people. The leaflet contains the information on sign of corona, precaution, hand washing techniques, etc. LEDARS disseminated the Corona information not only to beneficiaries but also to different level of community people. Day laborer, van puller, shopkeeper, tea stall owner, easy bike driver and passenger, school student, teacher, religious institutions, public institutions, doctors received the Corona awareness raising leaflet. LEDARS staff, youth forum leaders along with local public representatives, Teachers, took part to disseminate the leaflets.
