During the COVID 19 pandemic situation, super cyclone Amphan badly hit in southwest coastal region of Bangladesh at 20th may 2020. Due to COVID, earning source of poor people reduced drastically. Moreover, cyclone Amphan destroyed the household, livelihood, production, community assets, traditional agricultural scopes as well as salinity intrusion. All the situation made the people’s life miserable. 
People are so helpless in this both disasters. After cyclone Amphan, LEDARS quick started the emergency response program in affected area. At the starting of forecasting of cyclone Amphan LEDARS formed the emergency response team. In the beginning of the response program, LEDARS provide hygiene materials and dry food to the emergency shelter as well as rescue the people from remote area.
