LEDARS organize a daylong online workshop on climate change and it`s negative impact in the southwest coastal area of Bangladesh with the participation of youths at the date of 21 September, 2020 as per the schedule of global climate action week `20. 30 youths of Satkhira district participate in this workshop by using zoom app. Md.Sultanuzzaman, Program Manager, LEDARS, Ranajit Kumar Mondal, Project Coordinator, SLSCCVP project, LEDARS, Sohanur Rahaman, Chief Coordinator, YouthNet for Climate Justice, facilitate this workshop and Mili Mondal, Knowledge and Research Manager coordinate the workshop.
LEDARS arrange this workshop to increase the scientific knowledge of climate change and it`s negative effect as well as the impact of climate change in daily life and livelihood of coastal people. During this workshop, the youth participants identify their role and responsibilities to adopt with this anti survival situation and to establish the rights of climate-vulnerable people in the southwest coastal area of Bangladesh.
